Comfortable and modern hotel with friendly staff. I was alone and felt looked after by them. I booked a single room but they gave me a double and they also gave me free breakfast for four days (because I was annoyed about the service charge on the room rate!). The location is fine - although it's on the main road of Dehradun, it's set away from the highway, so it's quiet. There are many restaurants nearby. Ama cafe is the best.

Breakfast was exceptional. Big and tasty spread. The hotel was located a little set-off from the road (behind a big lawn)., which gave it a nice setting. The gym facilities were appreciated. Overall, it was nice and quiet indoors.

I loved the room, so beautiful and well furnished, and the restaurant - with all the American food on the menu- it was such a welcome change!! But the best part of this hotel is its staff, especially Abhishek, who went far and above to help a foreigner feel safe and comfortable. He has earned my utmost respect, and I would stay at Hotel Aketa again just because of his professionalism and caring demeanor. Thank you again, Abhishek!!!

I liked the ambience of the whole place. First of all the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. I found the rooms were really cozy, neat and clean with a lovely tea/coffee set up and the bathroom was equipped with all the necessary things and spotlessly clean. The room was silent and devoid of any disturbance and there was a nice view of nature from the window. The breakfast was sumptuous and there was enough variety to satisfy the palate. The location is perfect and central to the happening places on Rajpur Road. It was perfect for me as a solo traveller and I would look forward to more stays for my future visits here.

Everything. The breakfast selection was great, beds comfortable and the staff were very professional and friendly. Could not fault this hotel in any way. Have stayed at 5 star hotels during my holiday in India and this has been above those hotels

Very welcoming staff, everyone friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to make my stay perfect. Butter chicken the Best I have eaten in a long time. Breakfast a lovely spread of Indian and Western cuisine. Room spotless and comfortable Smoking cubicle on the same floor. Will definitely recommend this Hotel. I will be staying here again.

We stayed for a night and it was very pleasant. Courteous staff. Special mention for Mr PV Bhatt who assisted a lot during our stay. Location is very convenient to reach all tourist spots, malls, restaurants. The buffet breakfast and dinner had a lot of options. The staff kindly offered to store our excess luggage as we were travelling for a do dham yatra. Will surely come back for a longer stay.

location is on the busy Rajpur road. it is tucked away and has no noise. the staff were good and very friendly. the facility has been upgraded and renovated recently and all aspects of the facilities work well. it is a good business hotel. the rooms are large and spacious. the toilets are clean and well designed. the bar and room service is very good.
